March 20 (Reuters) - Shots were fired at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport on Friday night, the local sheriff's office told Reuters.
At least one person has been shot, Colonel John Fortunato, spokesman for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, told the Los Angeles Times.
The shooting happened about 6:30 p.m. CDT (2330 GMT) in Concourse B, airport spokeswoman Michelle Wilcut told the newspaper.
Reuters could not immediately confirm reports that anyone had been injured.
