Woman Chest-Bumped Elderly Disabled Woman Over Handicapped Space: Cops

A parking dispute left an elderly Wisconsin woman in the hospital.

On Feb. 3, police said, Kezia Perkins, 32, was trying to park in a handicapped space in the Walmart parking lot in Greenfield when a 71-year-old woman cut her off, according to WITI.

John Rawlings said he witnessed what happened next. After the woman exited her car and started walking toward the store, Perkins confronted her and "chest-butted" her, Rawlings told WITI.

Perkins allegedly told police "it’s not my fault the elderly woman bounced off my big (chest).”

The woman fell down and fractured her femur. She had to have surgery to repair the femur and to get another replacement hip, after her false hip was damaged in the fall, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Perkins is charged with aggravated battery.

She denied wrongdoing in an interview with WISN.

"I'm sorry she got hurt," Perkins said. "It was nothing I initiated."
