Guard Shot At U.S. Census Bureau In Maryland

A guard was left critically injured after being shot at the U.S. Census Bureau in Suitland, Maryland on Thursday night, emergency officials said.










The male victim was shot in the upper body, Prince George’s County fire department spokesman Mark Brady told The Washington Post. The identity of the victim was not released.










Law enforcement locked down the facility as they conducted their investigation, WUSA reported. A witness reported hearing "at least 10" shots in during the incident.










Authorities had not released any information on the suspect was not known. Officials told the Los Angeles Times that the gunman was at large, WTTG's Rick Boone reporting that the shooter was still inside the building. HuffPost had not been able to confirm this officials.
