BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Bolivia man faces several child sex crimes charges dating back to 2014.

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael Lee Denton, Jr, 27, yesterday.

He’s charged with one count of first degree rape, one count of statutory rape and four counts of indecent liberties with a child.

According to arrest warrants, the alleged crimes took place between October 29, 2014 and October 28, 2015 and again yesterday.

The girl is currently 15-years-old.
