A one-time Hamptons architect to the stars convicted of child porn possession is up to his creepy old tricks, authorities said.
Jay Lockett Sears, 78, was arrested at his East Quogue home Thursday for violating the terms of his supervised release, the feds said.
Sears has been concocting kiddie porn by pasting the faces of little girls on the bodies of naked women, the same crime he was convicted of in 2013, prosecutors said.
He was supposed to quit it with the demented arts and crafts projects under the terms of his supervised release in his Long Island federal case.
Sears' probation officer recently found several bags of similar makeshift pornographic images with sexually explicit captions, Assistant U.S. Attorney Allen Bode said.
The girls' faces came from publications including the Waldo Tribune, a kid-friendly paper connected to a clown business, the prosecutor said.
Sears was taken to a Long Island hospital after his arrest and arraigned by phone. Judge Denis Hurley order Sears' detention pending a bail hearing.
He faces up to three years in prison for the violation.
The original case started when a garbage collector found boxes with hundreds of disturbing pictures in a Brookhaven Town Dump.
In May 2014, Sears was sentenced to time served and five years of supervised release.
Sears designed pads for actors like Clint Eastwood, Michael J. Fox, soap star Susan Lucci, Broadway legend Bob Fosse and opera soprano Kathleen Battle.
He ran a charity called Mission of Kindness, meant for needy children and adults and would often dress up like an angel for the group’s events. The last state filings from the charity were submitted for the 2011 fiscal year.
Randi Chavis, Sears' lawyer at Thursday's arraignment, could not be reached for comment. Richard Signorelli, who represented Sears in the underlying case, said he had no comment.
