CRIME STOPPERS: Robber tried to hide under 'hoodie' | WOAI - WOAI

SAN ANTONIO —

Crimes Stoppers is hoping you can help them identified a man wanted for an armed robbery at a North Side convenience store.

Investigator say the man walked into the the Corner Food Mart on the 5300 block of Blanco Road at around 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 28th and demanded money from the register. As he approached the counter, he lifted his sweatshirt and exposed a handgun in his waistband. The cashier, fearing for his life, put the cash from the register onto the counter. The suspect grabbed the money and took off on foot.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male who is 25-30 years old, approximately 5’10” tall, and weighs about 200 pounds. His head was partially covered by the hood of the sweatshirt.

Crime Stoppers may pay UP TO $5,000 for information which leads to the arrest of the suspect(s) responsible for this Aggravated Robbery. To be eligible for a reward, tips must be submitted directly to Crime Stoppers.
