Burglary

An officer met with a student at her South Wayne Street apartment shortly after 7:30 p.m. July 13 in reference to a burglary. The student said she had gotten a call from her landlord earlier that day telling her that someone had broken into her door. She said that a wireless Bluetooth speaker and a large jar full of coins were missing from the residence, and that a laptop computer had been damaged.

Burglary

An officer met with a man at his South Jefferson Street apartment shortly after 9 p.m. July 13 in reference to a burglary. The man said he had received a call from a neighbor a few minutes before telling him that someone had broken into his house and was stealing his refrigerator. By the time the man managed to make it home, his refrigerator and the suspect were both gone. The officer searched the area for the suspect unsuccessfully.
