In just one month a total of 59 crimes were reported to police in Launceston, including 26 antisocial behaviour offences.
There were a range of offences reported in in April in the area we examined, which stretches from Treburley to St Stephens, according to the latest figures available from Devon and Cornwall Police.

In just 30 days, 26 antisocial behaviour offences were reported. There were also a number of violent crimes, with a total of 16 incidents reported under the category of violence and sexual offences.
Criminal damage and arson incidents were reported five times in the town in the month, while there was one report of shoplifting, three other thefts, zero drug-related crimes, six public order offences, zero burglaries and zero thefts from a person reported.

Between May 2016 and April 2017 a total of 763 crimes were reported. The highest month for offences in the past year was December 2016, with 85 reports, and the lowest was November 2016 with 46.
The offence most reported was antisocial behaviour, with 293 incidents reported in the past year, followed by violence and sexual offences with 189 incidents reported.
Statistics for the outcomes of crimes were also shared, with 53% (249 incidents) having no further action, 24% (113) are currently under investigation, 11% (51) were dealt with by the police, 8% (37) were dealt with at court and 4% (20) were sent to court.
MP for North Cornwall, Scott Mann said: "In the 12 months of May 2011 to April 2012, there were 976 crimes reported in Launceston, whereas over the same period in 2016/17, there were 763 reported crimes. This is a reduction of 22% after five years which I welcome.
"I meet frequently with Devon and Cornwall Police to discuss their work and any challenges they are facing. My constituency office in Bodmin have also been working with local police and high street businesses as part of a shop-watch scheme to identify people who are causing a nuisance.
"In Westminster, Cornwall's MPs have been watching the police funding formula closely and we have continued to stress to ministers the unique challenges that the county faces because of the huge population increases that take place over the summer."
