A former FBI agent pleaded guilty in federal court in Rome to disclosing “sensitive but unclassified” information about an internet child-exploitation task force that he led, a federal prosecutor said Friday.
Kenneth W. Hillman III, 47, formerly of Dalton, was lead agent in 2012 for a team that used an undercover facility and undercover computers, government cellphones and special internet chat language to lure individuals to the area, where they were arrested, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Beth Drake of South Carolina.
