Calvert County

These were among reports received by the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police. LUSBY AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Golden West Way, 800 block, Aug. 28. Motorcycle parts, a backpack blower, a chain saw, tool sets, hand tools, and a trigger and scope were stolen from a shed. A Harley Davidson motorcycle was damaged.

Senora Lane, 3:30 a.m. Aug. 30. A man observed someone rummaging through his vehicle. It was later found that a cellphone had been stolen.

Pale Face Ct., Aug. 31. An attempt was made to enter a residence by hammering a door handle. An air conditioner was stolen from outside the home.

Huntingtown AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Sheckells Lane, Aug. 28. A dog owner reported that one of his pit bull puppies had been stolen from its kennel.

PRINCE FREDERICK AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Solomons Island Rd. N., 100 block, Sept. 2. Various store items were stolen. A Prince Frederick man, 38, was charged.

BRYANS ROAD AREA

ROBBERIES

Marshall Hall Rd., 2000 block, 8:15 p.m. Aug. 29. A man entered a store and demanded money from a cashier. When the cashier refused, the man continued to make demands but left when a customer entered. A Bryans Road man, 25, was charged Sept. 5.

WALDORF AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Twinbrook Ct., 8900 block, 11:20 a.m. Sept. 5. A resident noticed a man loading a leaf blower from a garage into a truck. An attempt was made to confront the man, who fled without the equipment.

St. Mary’s County

Kavanagh Rd., 40000 block, Aug. 29. Someone was assaulted. A suspect fled before police arrived.
