The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Simple Battery

An officer met with a woman at her North Clarke Street residence shortly before 7:30 p.m. Sept. 24 in reference to a fight. The woman said two people had attacked her a few minutes before and injured her foot, and said her attackers had left in an unknown direction of travel. The woman gave the officer the names of the people who attacked her, but the officer had not contact with the assailants before filing the report.

Stolen Tag

An officer met with an employee at the Georgia Department of Corrections Food Distribution Center shortly after 4 p.m. Sep. 26 in reference to a missing trailer tag. The employee said the tags of one of the Department’s refrigeration trucks was missing, but did not know when exactly the tag had been removed. The employee gave the officer the number of the missing tag.
