A couple arrested for the murder of a North Shore resident have both been charged for the crime.

Stephen Brown, 23, and Hailey Kai Dandurand, 20, were charged Saturday night with second-degree murder. Both are being held in police custody.

Bail has been set for Brown at $1 million, and Dandurand's bail at $500,000.

Police are still investigating as to why they went into the rental home that the victim, 51-year-old Telma Boinville, was cleaning where her body was discovered Thursday. The people who were planning to reside there during their vacation found Boinville and her young daughter, who was alive and bound to a chair.

Brown and Dandurand also have additional charges besides murder in the second degree: Brown for first-degree burglary, kidnapping, and two outstanding warrants. He was released from OCCC a few months ago.

Dandurand was also charged for burglary and kidnapping, as well as the unauthorized possession of confidential personal information in the form of a credit card. She has no previous criminal record.
