SPRINGFIELD -- Police are investigating a crime scene at The Maples apartment complex on Maple Street.
A heavy police presence, including a forensic investigation truck, can be seen at The Maples on Maple Street Friday morning. Yellow police tape is blocking off the area and a black barrier has been erected.
Investigators are focusing part of their attention on a black car.
Police could not immediately be reached for comment.
The medical examiner van has arrived at the scene, and a body was just placed in the back.
