Ancelotti über Benzema: Wenn er gewinnt, wäre es auch ein Ballon d’Or für Real Madrid - Transfermarkt

Verleihung am Montagabend 

Carlo Ancelotti von Real Madrid hat gute Chancen, bald den Ballon d’Or-Gewinner zu trainieren: Stürmer Karim Benzema gilt als Favorit auf die Auszeichnung, die am Montagabend in Paris verliehen wird. „Ich hoffe, er gewinnt den Ballon d’Or, wir werden ihm gratulieren, weil es auf eine Art und Weise auch ein Ballon d’Or für uns ist“, sagte der 63 Jahre alte Italiener nach dem 3:1 gegen den FC Barcelona im „Clásico“.

Mit Real holte Benzema 2021/22 das Double aus Meisterschaft und Champions League und überragte nicht nur mit 44 Toren in 46 Spielen, sondern auch mit unbändigem Siegeswillen. „Er hat eine gute Leistung gezeigt, sein Tor gemacht und war wichtig für uns“, lobte Ancelotti den Stürmer nach dem 3:1 gegen den FC Barcelona. Auch Benzemas Teamkollege Antonio Rüdiger, der Portugiese Cristiano Ronaldo, Joshua Kimmich (FC Bayern) und Barcelonas amtierender Weltfußballer Robert Lewandowski gehören zu den 30 Nominierten.

Ancelotti über Kroos’ Vertrag: „Sind glücklich, egal, wie er sich entscheidet“

Dank des Prestigeerfolgs über Barcelona eroberte Real in LaLiga die Tabellenführung vom Rivalen. Ein Lob gab es von Ancelotti auch für Toni Kroos, der sein 250. Spiel in der spanischen Liga machte. „Er hat uns geholfen, gut hinten rauszuspielen, und war defensiv sehr stark“, urteilte Ancelotti. Das 1:0 bereitete der Deutsche mit einem starken Pass unter größtem Druck vor.

Kroos’ Zögern bei einer möglichen Vertragsverlängerung in Madrid über 2023 hinaus nimmt der Coach gelassen. „Wir sind glücklich, egal, wie er sich entscheidet“, sagte Ancelotti. „Er weiß, wie wir fühlen. Wir müssen ihn nicht drängen, er ist ein sehr intelligenter, disziplinierter und professioneller Typ und es gefällt ihm, bei Real Madrid zu spielen.“ Kross wechselte 2014 für 25 Millionen Euro Ablöse von München nach Madrid und holte seitdem 18 Titel mit den „Königlichen“.
