• Dwight V. Nobles Sr., 58, 409 Georgia Ave., Florence; tampering with evidence.

• Michelle L. Abbott, 41, 825 Ruby Road, Phil Campbell; attempting to commit a controlled substance crime and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Criminal mischief

• A sign in the 5100 block of River Road, Muscle Shoals, was damaged.

• A .45-caliber pistol was taken from a residence in the 3000 block of Underwood Mountain Road, Tuscumbia.

• A two-seat go-cart was taken from a residence on Riley Road, Leighton.

• A black cellphone and a silver Kia Optima were taken from a residence on Milk Springs Road, Tuscumbia.

• Cash totaling $800 was reported taken from a 2007 silver Buick Rendezvous that was reported stolen from a residence on Park Place, Leighton. The car was recovered but the money was missing.

Breaking and entering

• A laptop computer was taken from a 2001 Jeep Wrangler parked in the 400 block of Fairgrounds Road.

Burglaries

• A leaf blower, a picture, a sleeping cot, $15, a pick, a lawn fountain and a bowling ball were taken from a residence in the 600 block of Simpson Street.

• Two saws, a drill and a battery were taken from a residence in the 1200 block of Glenn Avenue.

• A garden tiller was taken from a residence in the 2000 block of Old Cloverdale Road.

• A 2016 Chrysler 300 was taken from a residence in the 1000 block of Marlborough Boulevard.

• A 2010 Dodge was taken from a residence in the 1000 block of Lindsey Street.

• A wallet and contents, including a driver's license, credit cards and $100, were taken from a business in the 1000 block of Florence Boulevard.

• A 2008 Honda was taken from a residence in the 1800 block of Darby Drive.
