CRIME REPORTS: April 8, 2017 - Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal

Felonies

The following people were booked into the Lee County-Tupelo Adult Jail in connection with felony charges ending Friday at 11 a.m.

• Cleatonia Burns, 34, of Starkville, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, abuse of a vulnerable person.

• Amber Long, 27, of Tupelo, was arrested by the Tupelo Police Department, child endangerment.

• Robert Pack, 56, of Nettleton, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, violation of probation.

• Maurice Shannon, 32, of Tupelo, was arrested by the Tupelo Police Department, shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Police Reports

The following reports were filed Friday by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office

• A Reynard Drive Verona man said someone ran into and damaged his county-issued garbage can overnight.

• A County Road 1451 woman said a 17-year-old male took her 2002 Pontiac without permission.

• A County Road 417 Guntown man said a male suspect went onto his property and drove a large metal post into the ground, leaving about two feet sticking up that would cut holes in his tractor tires when he started cutting up for spring.

• A County Road 813 woman said someone stole a deer feeder and a game camera from her property.

• A County Road 331 Guntown woman said a female suspect, possibly high on drugs, came to her house, started an argument and then hit her.

• A Tupelo man said his baby mama in Nettleton did his taxes for him. Instead of having the refund check sent to him, she instead had it sent to herself.

• A County Road 1349 woman said a man carried her to a Southaven doctor to get a prescription for Suboxone. The man went back the next day without her knowledge and picked up the prescription and only gave her half.

• A Highway 370 Baldwyn woman said when her daughter came home from visiting the child’s father, she smelled like marijuana. She said she has told him not to smoke around the child, but he continues.
