Attempted robbery: Reported June 24, 700 block of South Sepulveda Boulevard. Someone attempted to leave a store without paying for merchandise and, when confronted by security, lunged toward the employee.

Identity theft: Reported June 21. Fraudulent charges were made on the victim’s credit card.

Commercial burglary: Reported June 21, 1900 block of Hughes Way. Unknown means of entry into a storage unit. A dive tank and miscellaneous documents were reported stolen.

Commercial burglary: Reported June 23, 2100 block of East El Segundo Boulevard. A display containing phone chargers, earphones and auxiliary cables was reported stolen.

Grand theft: Reported June 21, 500 block of Standard Street. A set of golf clubs, an MP3 player and sunglasses were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Theft: Reported June 23. Police said someone attempted to take money from the victim’s checking account by using a scam.

Petty theft: Reported June 16, 400 block of West Acacia Avenue. A work ID and a notebook were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Identity theft: 8 a.m. Nov. 1 to 8 a.m. June 12. Someone opened an unauthorized credit card in the victim’s name.

Identity theft: 7:30-8:33 p.m. June 15, 1100 block of Pacific Coast Highway. A wallet was reported stolen from a purse while the victim shopped at a market. The credit cards were used to make unauthorized purchases.

Burglary: 3:15-4 a.m. June 12, 100 block of Manhattan Avenue. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle in a driveway and opened a garage door with an opener. A bicycle was reported stolen from the garage; unspecified items were reported stolen from the vehicle.

Burglary: 1:47 p.m. June 11 to 1:47 p.m. June 12, 400 block of Herondo Street. A padlock was cut. Tools were reported stolen from a fenced holding area.

Theft: 10 p.m. June 16 to 11 a.m. June 17, 100 block of Hermosa Avenue. An electric bicycle was reported stolen from a yard.

Theft: 1:35-1:40 a.m. June 12, 1300 block of The Strand. A backpack and other, unspecified items were reported stolen from an unlocked valet booth.

Robbery: 9:50 p.m. June 15, 600 block of North Pacific Coast Highway. Two females hit a store clerk with a hand basket and left without paying for six bottles of alcoholic beverages.

Attempted residential burglary: 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 16, 500 block of North Lucia Avenue. A screen was removed from a window.

Commercial burglary: 3:48-3:55 a.m. June 16, 1700 block of South Catalina Avenue. A glass door was smashed. A locked cabinet was pried open. No loss reported.

Vehicle burglary: 5:40-11:40 a.m. June 21, 500 block of Camino Real. A window was smashed. A gym bag containing workout clothes was reported stolen.

Vehicle burglary: 6:45-8:10 p.m. June 18, 1500 block of Hawthorne Boulevard. Unknown means of entry. Checks, clothing, jewelry, a wallet, an MP3 player, bank and credit cards, and keys were reported stolen.

Vehicle burglary: 2-10 a.m. June 17, 2500 block of Carnegie Lane. Unknown means of entry. Text books, a purse, a debit card and money were reported stolen.

Vehicle burglary: 11 a.m. June 16 to 6:07 a.m. June 17, 1700 block of Stanford Avenue. Unknown means of entry. A briefcase, a laptop computer, sunglasses, money, an ID, keys, credit cards and earphones were reported stolen.
