The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. Milledgeville Police Department
Burglary
An officer met with a woman at her Grandview Court apartment shortly after 7 a.m. July 26 in reference to a burglary. The woman said she left for work shortly before 5:30 p.m. the previous night and had come home that morning to find her TV, laptop and tablet computer missing. She believed that someone had entered her apartment through her bedroom window, as her exterior doors were locked and showed no signs of forced entry. The woman was unable to provide any serial numbers for the stolen items.
Theft by Taking
An officer met with a man at his West Thomas Court residence shortly before 3 p.m. July 26 in reference to a theft. The man said he had come home after being away from his residence to find that his ex-girlfriend had pawned several of his belongings. He said she had sold his TV, a tablet computer, and an MP3, and had also removed his washing machine and put it in her own residence. The officer advised the man bring his grievance to the Baldwin County Courthouse.
