Milledgeville Police Department
Gas Drive-Off
An officer met with an attendant at the South Wayne Street Jet Foods shortly after 12:30 p.m. Sept. 7 in reference to a theft. The attendant said he had been withdrawing money from the bank to replenish an empty ATM machine when someone in a white sedan pumped nearly $45 worth of gasoline and drove away. The attendant was unable to provide a description of the driver or the vehicle’s tag number.
Burglary
An officer met with a woman at her East Charlton Street apartment shortly after 2 p.m. Sept. 7 in reference to a burglary. The woman said her ex-boyfriend had entered her apartment without her permission and had taken a blanket earlier that day. She said she had found out about the theft when her neighbors told her they had seen her former boyfriend in the apartment. She valued the blanket at somewhere between $20 and $30.
